The OurHealth website is a discussion forum and information resource for health care consumers across Australia. It provides information about support services, resources and online training for consumer representatives in the health sector, and a moderated discussion forum for carers and consumers to have their say about how the health system is, or isn’t, working.  The content on OurHealth also provides a consumer-focused evidence base of personal stories and experiences for consumer representatives and policy/research officers working in the health space to draw upon for their work. Women’s Health Victoria Clearinghouse

Women’s Health Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation focussed on improving the lives of Victorian women. WHV undertake strategic health promotion and advocacy to improve women’s health,and provide a number of direct services.  The WHV Clearinghouse is an information service and library that supports the work of Women’s Health Victoria, and builds the capacity of others to incorporate a gendered approach to health.  The Clearinghouse specialises in women’s health policy, health promotion, preventative health, health determinants, and advocacy in the Australian and Victorian context.

Women With Disabilities Australia

Women With Disabilities Australia (WWDA) is the peak organisation for women with all types of disabilities in Australia. The website contains a large collection of papers, articles and reports; policy submissions; and newsletters ranging in date from 1995 to the present. Topics include violence against girls and women with disabilities, sexual and reproductive rights, sterilisation, etc.

High sensitivity cardiac troponin and the under-diagnosis of myocardial infarction in women: prospective cohort study

Women’s Health 2014 : AMA Position Statement

Tracking equity: Comparing outcomes for women and girls across Australia

The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Reform Council has played a critical role in tracking progress, nationally and on a state-by-state basis, against the COAG reform agenda. The council has analysed and publicly reported on governments’ performance against outcomes, performance indicators and targets agreed by COAG. However, until 2013 gender analysis was not directly incorporated in the assessment of governments’ performance. The council’s first report on gender, Tracking equity: Comparing outcomes for women and girls across Australia, redressed this omission.

WA Strategic Plan for Family and Domestic Violence 2009-2013

Women’s health action plan report card
