National Strategic Framework for Chronic Conditions

Acknowledging that chronic conditions are the leading cause of illness disability and death in Australia, the National Strategic Framework for Chronic Conditions supports Australia’s international commitments and provides national guidance for a multisectoral response in the prevention and management of chronic conditions.

Our Health, Our Community

The OurHealth website is a discussion forum and information resource for health care consumers across Australia. It provides information about support services, resources and online training for consumer representatives in the health sector, and a moderated discussion forum for carers and consumers to have their say about how the health system is, or isn’t, working.  The content on OurHealth also provides a consumer-focused evidence base of personal stories and experiences for consumer representatives and policy/research officers working in the health space to draw upon for their work.
