Women’s health policy
Gender is a system of power relations that permeates the structures, processes and practices of all aspects of life, in the domestic and public spheres, in work, workplaces and employment.
Gender is a key determinant of women’s health. It is vital, therefore, to infuse gender analysis, gender sensitive research, women’s perspectives, and gender equity goals into policies, projects and institutional ways of working.
This section identifies women’s health policies and other related resources Australia-wide and at the international level.
