Victorian Royal Commission into Family Violence: Summary and recommendations

In response to a number of family violence related deaths in Victoria, The Commission was asked to make practical recommendations to achieve the following outcomes: prevention, early intervention, support, perpetrator accountability, systematic response, community and government response, evaluation and measurement of the success of strategies, frameworks, policies, programs and services introduced to put a stop family violence.

Indigenous family violence : primary prevention framework

The framework is a resource for Aboriginal communities to guide the development and evaluation of prevention initiatives. It is also a tool for mainstream organisations and government partners who may be working or be intending to work in the prevention of Aboriginal family violence.

Victoria’s action plan to address violence against women and children 2012-2015

The plan outlines the Victorian Government’s approach to reducing violence against women and children. The plan sets out action across the prevention, early intervention and response stages. The plan is Victoria’s jurisdictional implementation of the National plan to reduce violence against women and their children.
