The Policy provides a framework to address gender equity across all facets of state government and partnerships with non-government organisations, business, local government and community groups (Summary Sheet 2015).

A right to safety : the next phase of South Australia’s women’s safety strategy 2011-2022

This strategy builds upon on the reforms undertaken through the Women’s safety strategy to improve South Australian legislation and services and to strengthen community understanding of the effects of violence against women. It also has a stronger focus on early intervention and prevention – to stop this violence from occurring in the first place.

South Australian Women’s Health Action Plan: Initiatives for 2010-2011

The South Australian Women’s Health Policy was launched by the Minister for Health in March 2005. The Policy aims to improve the health of all South Australian women and supports the priorities of South Australia’s Strategic Plan 2007 and the SA Health Strategic Plan 2008-2010. Emphasis is on improving the health of women who have had the least access and experience the worst health outcomes, in particular Aboriginal women.

South Australian Women’s Health Action Plan : initiatives for 2006/07

The South Australian Women’s Health Action Plan was developed through a collaborative partnership between the Department of Health and Regional Health Services. Leadership for the development of the Women’s Health Action Plan was provided by Children, Youth and Women’s Health Service. The 2006/07 initiatives were drawn from over 50 initiatives proposed by key stakeholders during consultations in August 2005.
